I really dig the shapes used in the face, but overall I think it's lacking some detail. Maybe some fine lines in the face and teeth and some kind of bubbles and lines in the saliva? also...the blobby outline around the text in his mouth...that needs to go...possibly curve the text top and bottom to make it fit the shape of the inside of his mouth? I think the colors need to be more drastic....if you think african they need to be brighter. Maybe the brownish color a dark green and use some gold, orange and kelly green and maybe some muted colors of those. I dig the fonts. Hmm...I think there needs to be another aspect of the kongo..some kind of symbos?
